Somehow I've found myself working on the company newsletter for just about every company I've worked at for the past dozen or so years. Not that I've minded. In some cases (BowTie Ink), I've also been able to do the layout, which is something I enjoy. And I know I am no threat to a "real" designer. I also consider the employees to be any company's greatest asset, and I've been proud to help keep them informed about the people, brand and all facets of their organization. It's typically a pretty fun project to come up with the departments and different ways to engage employees. Again, these are just a few examples.
